The Charlotte Hornets and Orlando Magic plan to interview Jerry Stackhouse — head coach of the Toronto Raptors’ G League team — for their head-coaching positions, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

Stackhouse will also interview for the New York Knicks’ coaching job this week, league sources said.

Stackhouse led the Raptors 905 to the G League championship game in both of his seasons as head coach. He joined Toronto as an assistant for the Raptors in 2015. In 2016-17, Stackhouse won G League Coach of the Year and helped lead 905 to a championship. The team lost to the Austin Spurs in the G League finals this year.

Charlotte, Orlando and New York parted with coaches Steve Clifford, Frank Vogel and Jeff Hornacek, respectively, last week.

Stackhouse, 43, was a two-time All-Star in an 18-year playing career that began in 1995, when he was the third overall pick by the Philadelphia 76ers.
