Sources: Gerald Green agrees to 1-year, $2.4M deal to return to Rockets

Free-agent guard Gerald Green has agreed to a one-year, $2.4 million deal to return to the Houston Rockets, league source told Yahoo Sports.

Green, 32, averaged 12.1 points and 3.2 rebounds per game last season, and shot 36.9 percent from 3-point range.

Green was the 18th overall pick out of Gulf Shores Academy in Houston in 2005.

In 11 seasons, Green has averaged 9.8 points and 2.5 rebounds for Boston, Minnesota, Houston, Dallas, New Jersey, Indiana, Phoenix and Miami.
