Milwaukee is also sending a future second-round draft pick with Vaughn, league sources said.
In two-plus seasons with the Bucks, Vaughn, 21, averaged 3.1 points and 1.2 rebounds while shooting 33.7 percent from the floor. Milwaukee had been searching for a landing spot for Vaughn, who was selected No. 17 overall out of UNLV in 2015. He averaged 2.7 points and 7.9 minutes in 22 games this season.
Zeller, a seven-footer, has averaged 7.1 points and 4.6 rebounds in 42 games (33 starts) for the Nets and will be a much-needed addition to fortify Milwaukee’s frontcourt.
Zeller, 28, is in his sixth NBA season and has played for Cleveland, Boston and Brooklyn. He signed a two-year contract with the Nets in free agency.
