Social media reacts to Hogs transfer news: Some Arkansas Fans Need a Moment
Arkansas Twitter needs group therapy.
Fan reactions to transfer news has been swift and definitive with reactions ranging from level headed to mildly alarmed to “Sir, this is a Wendy’s.”
The Hogs have thrived under coach Sam Pittman thanks in no small part to the still-new transfer portal. Grad transfer Felipe Franks gave the 2020 Hogs veteran leadership at quarterback after spending a bulk of his career with Florida to that point. John Ridgeway, Tre Williams, and Markell Utsey boosted defensive line strength this past season from Illinois State and Missouri, respectively. And the Hogs are in hot pursuit of key cogs for the 2022 season, which has more than half of its Top 20 recruiting class showing up in January.
Twitter is built for hot takes and overreactions. So are Arkansas fans. Here are some highlights from the day.
Arkansas Amnesia
Arkansas comes off their best football season in 10 years… only to have a complete dumpster fire of an off-season.

He must be new. Some of us are old enough to remember the Chad Morris Era.
PTSD is real.
At least one person out there remembers. And they have the scars to prove it.
It's the hope that kills you.
It’ll be okay, Kellie. But I think most Hogs fans can relate to this sentiment.
The Disapproving Parent
Razorback twitter should be embarrassed about today.
Even by very low social media standards, I’ve never seen so much freaking out and whining about things we know little or nothing about.
Take a breath and enjoy 9-4 for another day or two. Lordy.

There’s a good chance this guy is looking for a switch to come after y’all with.
If all else fails, blame the coach.
Sam Pittman is showing why he shouldn’t of been a head coach and he was the third choice can’t lose players like this

My guess is this guy doesn’t have a jukebox.
