Social media reacts: Conner Weigman finds Noah Thomas, Evan Stewart to put Aggies up early

Texas A&M brought in Bobby Petrino to inject some much-needed ingenuity into a stagnant offense from a season ago. Through two-quarters of football, it’s clear this Aggies offense is a far cry from what we saw in 2022.

Newly crowned starting quarterback Conner Weigman got hot early with a beautiful red zone touchdown to sophomore Noah Thomas, highlighting what should be a brewing connection to watch for this season. Not long after, Weigman found star receiver Evan Stewart for a 35-yard touchdown pass to hit him in stride and put the Aggies up 14-0 early.

It may be a small sample size, but it speaks volumes nonetheless about how this Texas A&M team is ready to roll on the offensive side of the ball, and equipped to turn what was once a weakness, into a strength.

Weigman followed up his first touchdown throw by hitting Evan Stewart in stride to start off the second quarter.

Here are the best social media reactions to Weigman putting Texas A&M up 14-0 early in the season opener.
