Social media reacts: Conner Weigman finds Noah Thomas, Evan Stewart to put Aggies up early
Texas A&M brought in Bobby Petrino to inject some much-needed ingenuity into a stagnant offense from a season ago. Through two-quarters of football, it’s clear this Aggies offense is a far cry from what we saw in 2022.
Newly crowned starting quarterback Conner Weigman got hot early with a beautiful red zone touchdown to sophomore Noah Thomas, highlighting what should be a brewing connection to watch for this season. Not long after, Weigman found star receiver Evan Stewart for a 35-yard touchdown pass to hit him in stride and put the Aggies up 14-0 early.
It may be a small sample size, but it speaks volumes nonetheless about how this Texas A&M team is ready to roll on the offensive side of the ball, and equipped to turn what was once a weakness, into a strength.
So smooth. 1️⃣5️⃣ → 3️⃣.

But I thought Petrino's offense wouldn't work at A&M?
The Texas A&M Aggies with Bobby Petrino & Connor Weigman just looked great on their first offensive drive…

Thomas will be an absolute beast in the red zone
Noah Thomas is yet another filthy red zone/goal line fade target along with moose. This receiver core is filthy. Our offense looked very well that first drive. Wiggy is not scared to run and he runs hard.

Bookmark it now: breakout season incoming for Noah Thomas
That is the Noah Thomas that we have been hearing about all offseason. That dude is going to be a star for the Aggies. Probably should have played more last season.
