Dani Alves said he does not "play for money" when confirming his exit from Juventus ahead of a prospective move to Manchester City. Juve chief executive Giuseppe Marotta last week announced Alves' contract in Turin would be terminated, despite his deal having another season to run, with the right-back set on departing. The 34-year-old is expected to be reunited with former Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola, under whom he won three LaLiga titles and two Champions Leagues.
LOS ANGELES (AP) — FOX Sports is partnering with Facebook to stream Champions League matches through Facebook Live next season. FOX announced Tuesday that it will stream games in the United States on the FOX Sports Facebook page and the FOX Deportes Facebook page beginning in September with group stage play. The deal will include two live game streams per match day in the group stage, along with four round-of-16 matches and four quarterfinals. FOX Sports says the 2016-17 Champions League final won by Real Madrid drew 98 million interactions on Facebook by about 34 million users. PHOTOS: Real Madrid wins Champions League final
Alex Sandro is one of the top three left-sided defenders in the world and has improved his game so much at Juventus that he now ranks amongst Real Madrid's Marcelo and Bayern Munich's David Alaba as the best in his role. Chelsea spotted that Sandro could be tempted into a £60 million move to west London after noticing his relatively low wage at the Turin giants.
