      As the calendar is set to flip to July another Aston Villa season is on the horizon. The fixture dates are out, TV dates to be announced (Five Villa matches moved already with Preston away joining previously announced Birmingham city home & away, Brentford on Boxing Day, and Hull City in March). Kits to be shown off at the end of this week... but international fans still don't know how/where they can watch the team. There are two sides to the uncertainty. The EFL has not announced the broadcast rights here in the United States with expiration of the BeIN Sports contract.       Steve Bruce has a lot of pull for players, he’s the reason why John Terry is so interested in joining us - and his influence allowed us to grab Sam Johnstone from Manchester United on a loan. However, his pull won’t be enough to grab the permanent signing of Johnstone, who is set to join Middlesbrough in a cut price deal according to reports. Something has went extremely wrong in this deal somewhere - Johnstone knows Villa, and he knows he’ll get first-team football; however the lure of Boro and Garry Monk has made him turn his back on Villa’s offer.
