Cristiano Ronaldo has mocked Real Madrid team-mate James Rodriguez's new haircut, branding the attacking midfielder's fresh style "ugly". A smiling James proudly posted an Instagram photo on Wednesday, reealing his new hairdo which features blonde highlights as he posed holding a football in casual clothing. Ronaldo himself has had a string of different hairstyles over his career, most recently opting to shave his head after winning the Champions League.
The St. Louis Cardinals announced today that they will hold their first Pride Night on August 25th. A lot of teams have Pride Nights, but it’s worth noting that the Cardinals are holding one given some bad press — some fair, some unfair — they have received in recent years when it comes to matters of diversity and inclusion. Recently, a former Cardinals minor league player claimed he left baseball after enduring anti-gay comments from his coaches and teammates.
Celtic star Leigh Griffiths took the Old Firm bait and promptly swallowed the fisherman. If you missed it, Rangers chairman Dave King said Celtic should’ve been even further ahead of their rivals given the setbacks handed to Rangers, who finally climbed back to the Scottish Premiership this season.
