That's it from me here tonight. Until the next time, adieu!
The win means PSG are now outright leaders at the top of Ligue 1. Second-placed Lille, three points behind, host Lyon on Sunday evening. Nantes remain 15th with eight points from eight games.
PSG claim a seventh consecutive league win. Nantes played well in the first half and would have led if not for Simon's horrendous miss, but they were made to pay for their profligacy early in the second half as Herrera side-footed home. Mbappe won and scored a penalty 20 minutes later and, while Nantes won another golden chance to score with a penalty of their own, Bamba's disappointing effort was easily saved by Navas and Sarabia capped the win with a lovely dink late on.
FULL-TIME: NANTES 0-3 PSG
If they hold on to their clean sheet here, PSG will make it four away games in a row without conceding in Ligue 1. They last managed such a run between December 2015 and January 2016.
Three minutes added on.
GOAL! A beautiful chipped finish from Sarabia, PSG make it 3-0! Louza dallies on the ball at the edge of the area and as he's pressed by Dagba, tries to play it back to Lafont. Sarabia intercepts and lifts a delightful effort over the stranded goalkeeper.
Good save from Lafont! Fadiga plays Sarabia in behind down the left channel. He cuts infield onto his right foot and looks to finish, but the keeper comes out well to smother his shot - though he may have been offside anyway.
Another change from the hosts. Pereira de Sa is on in place of Blas, who looked threatening at times but not consistently enough to cause any real problems for PSG.
Abeid does well to deal with a curled cross from deep from Bakker, chasing back to nod the ball away with two PSG forwards looking to get on the end of it.
The free-kick is swung into the area but Navas comes out unchallenged to take a simple catch.
Dagba is booked for a foul on Bamba on the Nantes left.
Louza fouls Ruiz-Atil in midfield. Fadiga wants to hurry things up from a quicky-taken free-kick but none of his team-mates are on the same wavelength, who are more concerned with keeping possession.
Sarabia hits a free-kick straight into the wall from range. It did hit Castelletto's hand, but it was tucked into his body and the ball was hit hard at him.
There is a note of concern for PSG as Mbappe has gone straight down the tunnel. He didn't look in discomfort but did seem to have a little feel of his hamstring.
Mbappe has his goal and now his night is over, replaced by 19-year-old academy product Fadiga.
And now a double change for PSG. Kurzawa comes on in place of Rafinha.
It's a double change for the hosts, with Toure also coming on in place of Chirivella.
PSG academy graduate Augustin comes on for Nantes. He replaces Coco.
Into the final 20 minutes now, you have to think Nantes needed to take that chance if they were going to get back into this as PSG are finding a lot more space on the ball. With the missed penalty and Simon's howler, they should have scored twice.
Penalty Miss Kader Bamba
Saved! Bamba puts his penalty to the left but it's at a perfect height for Navas, who beats it away with both hands. Not a good penalty.
PENALTY FOR NANTES! Blas finds Coco in the area and he's taken out from behind by Diallo as he collects the ball.
Coco is booked for mouthing off to the ref after that penalty decision.
Kolo Muani goes down in the area under a challenge from the substitute Kehrer, but it looks as though he just got to the ball with the outside of his boot.
Kehrer replaces Danilo, who has had a good game.
Changes for PSG. Marquinhos comes on for Gueye.
GOAL! 2-0 PSG, Mbappe from the spot! He places it confidently into the bottom-right corner, and Lafont can't react quickly enough to move.
PENALTY FOR PSG! Mbappe goes down after a slight touch in the back from Castelletto. It looks a little harsh. There wasn't a lot of contact, and goalkeeper Lafont might have been favourite to reach the ball anyway.
Bakker fires in a low cross from the left but Rafinha can't connect as he runs onto it and looks to finish left-footed. It wasn't an easy chance - the ball was really travelling as it got to him.
Kolo Muani almost steals a loose ball at the edge of the PSG area but again, Danilo is alert to the danger and keeps hold of possession.
Ruiz-Atil catches Louza late in midfield. PSG look to be readying some more subs.
Blas fires in an awkward low cross from the left and Navas has to be alert, falling to his left to smother the ball after Danilo almost touches it into his own net.
Traore makes a good tackle on Dagba at the edge of the area. The resulting corner is only half-cleared by Louza, but Herrera volleys over on the follow-up.
Ruiz-Atil picks out Herrera with a nice floated pass to the right side of the area. He tries to volley the cross straight in but doesn't quite catch it right, and it's easy for a defender to get across and clear as the ball spins off his boot.
Chance for Mbappe! He does well to work a shooting position after the ball played in behind for him held up in the pitch. He shields it from two defenders but can't beat Lafont, who makes a good stop.
PSG look more threatening since the break. Mbappe almost gets clear down the left as the visitors get men forward in numbers, but Castelletto gets a foot in and concedes a corner.
Rafinha steals the ball inside the area but his shot is deflected behind as he slips. The resulting corner is easily cleared.
PSG aren't exactly flush with attacking options on the bench. If somebody does come on to make a difference, it will be one of the youngsters.
Nantes haven't won back-to-back Ligue 1 games since December 2019. They started well today, but it looks as though that run will go on for a little longer.
It's goalless at the break but Nantes should really be ahead after a miss of the season contender from Simon, who has since been substituted. He completely mis-kicked when presented with an open goal inside the six-yard box, and that has been as close as either side have come. Mbappe similarly failed to connect with the ball when unmarked in the area late in the half, with neither side managing a shot on target in the first 45.
HALF-TIME: NANTES 0-0 PSG
Mbappe gets the assist for an accurate low ball across the box for Herrera to finish.
GOAL! PSG lead 1-0, Herrera opens the scoring! Ruiz-Atil plays a part straight away, holding the ball up on the left and laying it inside to Mbappe. He sweeps it across the box to Herrera, who calmly passes it into the bottom-right corner.
Sarabia goes down just inside the area as he looks to beat the last defender with a stepover, but the referee says no penalty. Moments later, Mbappe bursts in from the left and goes down too, but it looks as though he over-ran the ball and overbalanced rather than being fouled.
The 18-year-old Ruiz-Atil, formerly of Barcelona, is making his fifth appearance in Ligue 1 this season. Will he get his first goal?
Two minutes of stoppage time.
We're back underway.
PSG make a change at the break. Kean goes off, Ruiz-Atil comes on.
Rafinha shoots first time with his left foot from the edge of the area, but he leans back and curls well over the crossbar.
Chance for Mbappe! Sarabia finds him in space in the area with a low cross from the right, but he mis-kicks as he looks to finish first time with his right foot.
Rafinha picks up a loose ball to the right of the penalty area and looks to pick out Mbappe at the far post, but Appiah is alive to the danger and flicks it clear.
Bamba yells out as he hits the deck following a nudge from Sarabia just inside the PSG half, but it was probably his own momentum that caused the fall as much as anything.
Kean is caught offside as he attempts to steal in down the right channel. Abeid and Traore both tracked back to tackle him, with all three on the floor when the flag went up.
Blas tries his luck from range, but his left-footed effort cannons straight into Danilo's backside. He'll be feeling that one when he sits down at half-time.
Another chance for Nantes! Herrera gives the ball away to Blas in the PSG half and he finds Kolo Muani over to the left. He works the ball onto his right foot and gets away from Danilo, but curls his shot over the crossbar.
Blas looks to receive the ball and spin away from Gueye just outside the PSG area, but the former Everton midfielder reads his intention and gets a foot in.
Kean and Abeid are back up quickly, and play continues. Not as serious as it first appeared.
Kean and Abeid are both down after a clash outside the Nantes penalty area. It looks as though Kean caught Abeid with a loose elbow as the pair of them challenged for the ball, but there was no malice in it.
Blas gets the first yellow card of the night from referee Hakim Ben El Hadj for a flailing hand in Danilo's face.
Half an hour in, no shots on target from either side. Nantes should be ahead, though, after that Simon howler.
PSG almost play their way into trouble at the back but Danilo keeps his head and finds a way back to Navas under pressure. He has looked assured in that back four so far tonight.
Before this match, Nantes had had possession for just 129 minutes in Ligue 1 - less than any other side. They have had about 40 per cent of possession so far tonight, and have looked dangerous with it at times.
Mbappe picks up the ball in space on the left again but his final delivery is poor. Traore gets across to head it clear but if he hadn't, it would have landed right in the middle of where Kean and Sarabia had made their runs.
Nantes are forced into an early change. Simon goes off, replaced by Bamba.
Bakker and Rafinha try to combine to find room for a cross on the left, but Nantes get bodies back in numbers and the visitors recycle possession back to defence.
PSG haven't got going in attack yet. There isn't a huge amount of creativity coming from their midfield three.
Mbappe nutmegs Appiah by the left touchline and races towards the area, but his low cross towards Kean is easily cut out.
Diallo heads a corner away from the near post. Nantes are looking the more likely to score at the minute.
WHAT A MISS! That is one of the misses of the season. Kolo Muani does brilliantly down the right. He beats his man, gets to the byline and slides the ball across the six-yard box for Simon to tap it into an open goal but he over-runs it slightly and mis-kicks completely as it reaches him. He can't believe it.
Traore bends in a low cross from the left, but Danilo reacts fastest and gets across to boot it clear.
It has been a fairly promising start to proceedings. Nantes are showing some attacking endeavour, so it's not going to be 90 minutes of attack against defence as can be the case with some PSG matches.
PSG have won their last six matches in Ligue 1, the best such run of any team in the division. They have also managed to keep a clean sheet in five of those six games.
The big screen in the Stade de la Beaujoire is now showing a tribute to the late Emiliano Sala. The former Nantes forward would have been 30 years old today.
Blas almost finds Kolo Muani with a chipped first-time ball in behind, but the ball runs away from the forward. It looked as though it might have been reachable before he gave up on it, so perhaps he knew he was offside.
PSG look a little frantic when they get the ball. Mbappe and Sarabia look to link up with some quickfire passing at the edge of the area but they can't find a way through.
Simon fires in a cross from the left, but he pulls the ball back to the edge of the area instead of picking out one of the forwards in the box. There's no Nantes player to pick it up and PSG regain possession.
Kolo Muani leads a Nantes counter-attack after a loose pass in midfield from Rafinha, but the move breaks down as Blas misjudges his flicked pass at the edge of the area. It didn't really require the showmanship he went for.
Sarabia picks up the ball in space on the right and plays it infield to Mbappe, but he's quickly closed down at the edge of the area.
Abeid attempts a long ball over the top down the left channel but it's overhit, and Danilo can watch it safely behind for a goal kick.
Mbappe is fouled as he looks to make headway down the left flank. Hard to imagine that will be the last time tonight.
The teams are on their way out onto the pitch, and we're nearly ready for kick-off.
PSG have won 16 of their last 17 games against Nantes in Ligue 1. The odd one out was a 3-2 home win for today’s hosts back in April 2019.
Neymar is expected to be out until after the international break, so Kean and Sarabia start alongside Mbappe in attack for PSG. The 21-year-old midfielder Louza captains Nantes, who make three changes from their last game. Simon, Appiah and Traore come in.
