The only player carried over from Mexico's Gold Cup winning side to their Copa America squad was Gio Dos Santos -- the man who delivered the final deathblow to the U.S. in the Gold Cup final with his excellent chip. Judging by this clip, Chile's Gary Medel might have had money on the U.S. in the game or maybe he was just feeling grabby, because in Mexico's 2-1 loss to Chile in their Copa America opener, Medel decided to squeeze Gio's Dos Santos as they battled for the ball.
It took Dos Santos and minute to recover from that and Medel wasn't booked for his malicious and unwanted wang choke, though if anything deserves a straight red card and a lifetime ban, it's probably this.
