Soccer roundup: Rockwall Lady Jackets lead District 10-6A at 6-0

Feb. 16—Through the first six games of District 10-6A girls play, the Rockwall Lady Jackets rank first and the Lady Hawks are third.

Rockwall is 6-0 and has outscored its district opponents 37-2 including a 4-1 win on Tuesday over rivall Rockwall-Heath.

Rockwall also beat Royse City 8-0 on Friday. Juliette Rayo scored two goals for Rockwall, which also collected goals from Morgan Countryman, Iriana Sarpy, Amber Clark, Brinlee Weir, Alexis Crispin and Addison Nowaczyk.

Rockwall is to play next at North Forney on Friday.

Rockwall-Heath is 4-2 in district play. The Lady Hawks also ost 2-1 on Friday to Tyler Legacy.

The Lady Hawks' next scheduled game is on Tuesday at home against Mesquite.

Tyler Legacy ranks second in the district standings at 4-1. North Forney, Royse City and Mesquite Horn are all tied for fourth at 2-4. Mesquite trails the field at 0-6.

Through the first six games of the District 10-6A boys race, the Rockwall Jackets rank fourth at 3-21 and Heath ranks fifth with a 2-1-3 mark.

Mesquite Horn and Mesquite are tied for the district lead at 3-1-2.. Tyler Legacy ranks third wiht a 2-0-4 mark. Royse City is sixth at 1-3-2. North Forney trails the field with its 0-6 record.

Rockwall beat Heath 4-1 on Tuesday.

Heath beat North Forney 4-0 on Friday.

The Hawks are to play again on Tuesday at home against Mesquite.

Rockwall beat Royse City 2-1 on Friday.

The Yellowjackets are to play again at home on Friday against North Forney.

Rockwall and Heath are to meet again on March 8 at Rockwal in the final boys district contest.

The Lady Jackets and Lady Hawks are to meet again on March 8 at Heath.
