Lionel Messi's Barcelona teammates lined up for photos with him after Copa del Rey title (video)

A photo with the trophy you just won is good. A photo with the trophy next to teammate Lionel Messi is even better.

Messi scored twice as Barcelona defeated Athletic Bilbao 4-0 in the Spanish Copa del Rey final on Saturday. One after another, Messi's Barcelona teammates stepped up to be photographed with him in the on-field celebration afterward.

Most of the players are young stars who likely grew up idolizing Messi, 33, and wanted a snapshot of the feat to forever keep. For several players, including Antoine Griezmann, Frenkie De Jong and Pedri, it's their first trophy with the club.

It's Messi's 35th trophy with Barcelona, where he's spent his entire professional career.

"I am really happy for this group of players because they deserved some happiness," he told Barca TV, via ESPN. "It's really special to be the captain of this club, where I have spent my whole life, and it's a really special Copa for me, to be able to lift [the trophy]."

There is also speculation it could be the last trophy for Messi at Barcelona, with rumors still circling he'll leave this summer, which could be another reason for the photograph line. The list of teammates included U.S. men's national team fullback Sergiño Dest, shown at the end of the clip. Dest became the first USMNT player to win the Copa del Rey.
