Soccer: Brook Hill boys and girls stay undefeated in district play

Jan. 30—TYLER — Brook Hill bashed T.K. Gorman in both games of a district twin bill Monday.

The Guard (12-0-1, 8-0) earned a 10-1 victory over the Crusaders while the Brook Hill girls blanked T.K. Gorman, 10-0 to move to 12-3-1, 5-0.

Alejandro Martinez scored five goals to guide the Guard to victory.

Adding a goal apiece were: Kamsi Amaonwu, Lucas Chade, Pancho Ramirez, Jonah Kondru and Jack Barker.

Assists were collected by Amaonwu (2), Marlon Rataj (2), Martinez and Ramirez.

Combining efforts on the shutout were goal keepers Christian Pous and Luke Visser. Each had two saves.

Hadleigh Clark, Scarlett Kerr and Riley-Jane McCord tallied two goals apiece in the Lady Guard's dominating win.

Anastasia Kanaykina and Kerrigan Rozelle tossed in a goal each.

Clark, Caley Fitzgerald and Caroline Smith earned an assist apiece.
