Skating star Mirai Nagasu used to work in the NHL
The next time you’re at a NHL game, keep an eye on the women paid to clear the ice.
You might be seeing a future Olympic medal winner.
American skating star Mirai Nagasu, 24, was an ice girl for the Colorado Avalanche during the 2015-2016 season. Though she’s a native Californian, she lives in Colorado where she both trains at the USOC training headquarters and studies international business at the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs. Considering that, the Avs job was a good one for Nagasu.
