Sixers summer league highlights: Paul Reed makes it look easy in Utah

The Philadelphia 76ers wrapped up the Salt Lake City portion of their summer league schedule on Thursday night when they knocked off the Oklahoma City Thunder. Now their attention turns to Las Vegas. They will open that portion of the summer league on Saturday against the Toronto Raptors.

This also means it’s the end for Paul Reed who, per Rookie Wire, will not be joining the team in Vegas. Though his summer league ends after just two games in Utah, he definitely made the most of them.

He was a grown man out there using his body and his skill. He showed an ability to step out and knock down some jumpers. Reed had a successful summer league and below are some highlights of what he did out in Utah.

Reed, who looks like he has the inside track on being the backup big man to Joel Embiid, will return to Philadelphia and prepare for the 2022-23 season. He has done enough to show the Sixers he is ready for the challenges ahead.
