Sixers star Joel Embiid given 96 overall rating for NBA 2K23 video game

The 2022-23 season is drawing near, which means the new NBA 2K23 video game is about to be released. Soon everyone will be able to control their favorite NBA stars and even build their own stardom.

The Philadelphia 76ers are one of the more talented teams in the league. They have quite a few proven players; therefore, they deserve respect when it comes to rankings and ratings.

The video game is set for release on Friday, Sept. 9 which means now is the time for ratings reveals. Sixers star big man Joel Embiid understandably deserves a high overall rating after he put up an incredible season, averaging 30.6 points and 11.7 rebounds. He was the first big man to lead the league in scoring since Shaquille O’Neal in 2000. As a result, he earned a 96 overall rating.

Embiid is certainly one of the best players in the league, so he has obviously earned the respect of the creators of 2K.
