Sixers star James Harden continues to light it up at Rico Hines runs

Philadelphia 76ers star James Harden has constantly been in the gym all summer as he prepares for his first full year with the Sixers in the 2022-23 season. Harden has been dealing with a hamstring issue, but this summer he has been able to rest the injury as well as get some work in.

With it being August, the future Hall of Famer is getting some runs in with Rico Hines at UCLA. Hines, an assistant coach for the Toronto Raptors, has welcomed Harden and numerous other NBA players to the campus and The Beard has been lighting it up in the gym.

The latest video of Harden has shown the star guard doing things he really couldn’t do in the 21 games he played for the Sixers after the trade. He was able to get some work in and he looks like he is in better shape than he has in the past few years.

Harden averaged 21 points, 10.5 assists, and 7.1 rebounds in 21 games with the Sixers, but he didn’t have the same explosiveness. It wasn’t the normal Harden that many were accustomed to seeing.

However, now that he has had a full offseason to get in the gym as well as bond with his teammates and build chemistry, the expectation is he will be back to where he was before the hamstring issues.
