Sixers’ Paul Reed, Jaden Springer perform well in Blue Coats win
While the Philadelphia 76ers are looking to bounce back from a tough loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday, their younger players put in work in the G League for the team’s affiliate, the Delaware Blue Coats.
The team sent second-year big man Paul Reed back to the Blue Coats along with rookie wingman Jaden Springer just to see what the two of them can do. They were able to play well in a 120-94 win for the Blue Coats over Raptors 905.
Reed finished with 22 points and 11 rebounds with two blocks in the win and Springer finished with 24 points on 8-for-13 shooting with seven rebounds and five steals. It was an impressive performance for both in the win.

The Sixers now have to hope that both Reed and Springer can continue to develop as players. The two of them have solid talent, but they just need guidance in order to tap into it. This is a positive step for both in the right direction.
