Sixers individual player grades after Game 3 road win over Wizards

The Philadelphia 76ers have looked dominant thus far in their first-round playoff series with the Washington Wizards. They took a 3-0 series lead against the eighth-seeded Wizards after going into D.C. and picking up a 132-103 Game 3 win on the road on Saturday.

They received another huge performance from Joel Embiid, who produced 36 points and eight rebounds, while getting a big game out of Tobias Harris, who had 20 points. Ben Simmons, Seth Curry and Danny Green also scored in double figures as they outplayed the starting unit from the Wizards in a big way.

As we have done after every playoff game, here are the individual player grades following the road win:

Joel Embiid: A+

It's hard to come up with the right superlatives to describe what Embiid is doing right now. He has continued to take huge steps forward in his game whether it's identifying when and where the double teams are coming from or it's being able to make a move and bully any big man in his way. The Wizards are no match for him, and he knows it. He's been great in this series.

Tobias Harris: A+

Harris quietly continues to have a terrific series. He had 20 points on 8-for-14 shooting while pulling down 13 rebounds with five assists on Saturday and he continues to attack downhill. Washington has struggled all series trying to find an answer for him and it is due to his quick decision making and being able to put himself in a position to succeed.

Seth Curry: A+

Curry is dealing with a left ankle sprain, but he looked perfectly fine on Saturday. He had 15 points. He knocked down three 3s. He had six assists, and he bothered the hell out of Washington shooter Davis Bertans with his defense. This was a really, really good game for him.

Ben Simmons: A+

Simmons was absolutely terrific in Game 3 as he set the tone from the jump. He was aggressive pushing the ball in transition and that set up his teammates for open looks from deep. He had 14 points on 7-for-10 shooting as he got into the paint, and he had nine assists as he created a lot of looks for his guys.

Danny Green: A+

It was really hard to find any faults from anybody in the starting unit. The starters really put on a clinic on how to share the ball and being able to succeed on offense as a team. Green had 15 points and he knocked down five 3-pointers while also doing a lot of little things to contribute to this win.

George Hill: B

Hill had five points and made both of his shots, including a 3, and he played solid defense. There is not much more you can ask of him. He did his job.

Dwight Howard: B

Howard was solid. His presence alone makes the Wizards think twice about attacking the basket when he's out there, and he pulled down nine rebounds. He also made three of his four free throws so that was a bonus.

Matisse Thybulle: C+

Thybulle had four points and he knocked down two shots on six attempts, but he did not have a steal or a block, which is rare. He bothered Bertans and Bradley Beal a bit so that always helps.

Tyrese Maxey: C+

Maxey got the first call off the bench and he was solid. He was able to get into the paint and begin to create for his teammates, but he missed his one look in the first half before knocking down some shots late in the win.

Furkan Korkmaz: C

Korkmaz knocked down one of his three attempts from deep and that is what is expected out of him. He did also have an assist so that is a bit of a bonus when it comes to his play.

Shake Milton: D

This has been a rough playoff series for Milton. On Saturday, coach Doc Rivers turned to Maxey before him and while he did play 10:30, he had four turnovers and three fouls. He scored four points late in garbage time.

Mike Scott/Paul Reed/Isaiah Joe: Incomplete

Scott, Reed and Joe played late in garbage time when the game was already decided. Scott did knock down two 3s much to the delight of a few members of the "Mike Scott Hive" who made the trip to D.C.
