Sixers guard Seth Curry out vs. Raptors due to left ankle soreness

The Philadelphia 76ers will be looking to bounce back on Tuesday against the Toronto Raptors following Sunday’s loss to the same Raptors on the road and they will have to do so while being shorthanded.

Seth Curry will miss Tuesday’s rematch with the Raptors with left ankle soreness and that is a big piece that will be missing in this one. Curry’s shooting is so important to what the Sixers want to do on the offensive end of the floor.

In Curry’s place, coach Doc Rivers has options he can turn to such as Furkan Korkmaz or maybe Isaiah Joe. It will be interesting to see who he turns to in this situation.

The Sixers have not beaten the Raptors on the road in the regular season since November of 2012 and if they want to end that streak on Tuesday, they will need other guys to step up next to Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons. Tipoff from Tampa is set for 7:30 p.m. EST.
