Philadelphia 76ers sharpshooter Seth Curry had himself a terrific first season with the team. He was the perfect addition to Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons as he shot 45% from deep in the regular season and he was able to space the floor well for them to operate.

However, it was not all sunshine and rainbows for him as he tested positive for COVID-19 in January which caused him to miss a couple of weeks as he recovered from the virus. When he returned, he did not look the same for a little while.

Curry had a tough time getting his wind back and he did not have the same lift in his jump shot. There was a stretch where he shot only 34.5% from deep over the course of 20 games and it was clear he was being affected by his recovery.

He was able to get it together by the playoffs, however, and put together an impressive run where he shot a sizzling 50.6% from deep and he averaged 18.8 points. Now, that he has had a full offseason to rest, Curry gave an update on how he is feeling.

“I feel great,” he stated. “I feel like I’m in great shape physically, mentally. Just feeling refreshed and ready to go.”

The Sixers will begin training camp on Tuesday so that will give the guard another opportunity to get himself moving in the right direction again.
