Sixers guard Matisse Thybulle posts new vlog of Olympic experience

Philadelphia 76ers guard Matisse Thybulle is known on the court for being one of the best defenders in the league. Coming off the bench and averaging just 20 minutes a night, he was still named to an All-Defensive Team and he made a huge impact on that end of the floor.

Off the court, he is known as Matisse Thybulle, the YouTube vlogger.

Thybulle began vlogging during the NBA restart in the bubble in 2020 and he became an instant sensation on the website as he now has over 421,000 subscribers to his channel. He then continued to vlog a bit about the offseason before putting things on pause during the 2020-21 season and now he is back at it for his Olympic experience with Australia.

Thybulle posted episode 2 of his “Road to Tokyo” series and it started with a big BBQ where he had some fun with Australian teammate, and Utah Jazz guard, Joe Ingles as well as San Antonio Spurs veteran Patty Mills. He also received a big package of basketball gear delivered to his hotel room and he is trying to give away some of the sleeves that he received in the package.

Thybulle and the Boomers recently picked up a win over Team USA where he had an impressive block on star Kevin Durant. He can use this Olympic experience to continue to grow his game and become a more complete player out on the floor before returning to the Sixers for training camp before the 2021-22 season.
