Sixers forward Tobias Harris expected to miss several games due to protocols

The Philadelphia 76ers received some tough news on Monday that they will be without starting forward Tobias Harris after he entered the league’s health and safety protocols on Monday just before tipoff with the Portland Trail Blazers. That meant that he will miss the game, but he could miss even more.

Depending on why he entered the protocols whether it be a positive COVID test or an inconclusive test, the efficient forward could miss some time. At the moment, Harris is expected to miss several games at the worst time right now as Philadelphia’s schedule is pretty hectic over the next couple of weeks.

Harris is averaging 19.8 points and 9.0 rebounds along with 4.2 assists to begin the season so that is a lot of offense to replace. He missed some time in the 2020-21 season due to the health and safety protocols as well. Philadelphia will have to dig deep and figure out how they can replace Harris’ production during this tough time.
