PHILADELPHIA — The final score in Game 1 will read that the Philadelphia 76ers walked away with an easy 131-111 win over the Toronto Raptors on Saturday.

As they prepare for Game 2, the Sixers must be prepared to take the best punch from a scrappy Raptors team and be prepared to fight back.

The Sixers flipped the script on Saturday. They dominated both on the glass and in transition. The Sixers won the rebounding battle, held the Raptors to seven offensive rebounds, and Philadelphia outscored Toronto in transition 29-10. Those are areas the Raptors normally dominate the Sixers.

As they move on to Game 2, Philadelphia understands this will not be easy:

James Harden

“A lot different. We gotta start preparing for Game 2 now. That was a good win for us, but we’ll watch some film, and we just gotta continue to get better. I think it’s about us. I think about the things that our coaches preach every single practice and this past week. We gotta make sure we stay overly locked in on those things and then just continue to play well. That’s the most important thing.”

Doc Rivers

“We won one game, honestly. There’s things I saw that we have to do better. Absolutely do better. On offense, too. There were things that I’m looking forward to watching the film that we absolutely have to do better and should be better so that’s encouraging, I guess. Defensively, we left the corner and their main shooter so there’s things we have to get better and this is just one game. We have to improve and understand that every night.”

Tobias Harris

“Well, it wasn’t an easy one. Every game in the playoffs is gonna be going full battle and this series is gonna be that same way. They’re a team that is gonna make an adjustment and that’s what the playoffs are about. It’s basically where you play a game, you go back to the drawing board and figure out what you did well and what you can do better. For us, we’ve got to stay level. We’ve got to stay really balanced during this time to understand that we’ve got to figure out ways to go out and figure out spots in the game where we had success and what was clicking for us and what we can stay with and continue to do. So, we’ll obviously evaluate that tomorrow (Sunday), but, this is a great win for us. First playoff game on our home court to protect our house and we’ve got to do the same thing next game. “
