The Philadelphia 76ers are getting set to begin a quick two-game road trip on Sunday when they take on the Oklahoma City Thunder and they will be looking to bounce back from a loss at home on Friday.

Before they can get to the game, however, there is some housecleaning to take care of. The Sixers have a couple of younger players on the roster who aren’t going to get the necessary court time at the NBA level to develop, so they are sending them to their G League affiliate, the Delaware Blue Coats.

The Sixers will send young rookie Jaden Springer as well as two-way player Aaron Henry to Delaware. They will begin training camp with them on Monday.

This is not too much of a surprise considering Springer is only 19-yeard old and he will not play with the Sixers at the moment. Coach Doc Rivers hinted that Springer would be spending time with the Blue Coats in his rookie season anyway.
