2024 Guinness Six Nations on the BBC
Dates: 2 February to 16 March
Coverage: Watch Scotland and Wales home games live on BBC One & BBC iPlayer; match commentary on BBC Radio 5 Live, Sports Extra or BBC Sounds; live text & video clips on BBC Sport website and app; highlights on BBC Two, iPlayer & online.
A five-point victory on Saturday, 9 March would give Andy Farrell's side a fourth successive win in this year's championship and an unassailable total of 20 points.
Scotland would be unable to catch them, even if they record bonus-point victories in their remaining two games - they face Italy in Rome on 9 March and then their final game is away in Dublin on 16 March.
An Ireland victory in London would also keep them on track to become the first nation to claim back-to-back Grand Slams in the Six Nations era.
A win for England would keep alive their slim title hopes after a disappointing defeat by Scotland at Murrayfield - but they would need other results to go their way and beat France away in their final game.
Scotland, whose only defeat this Six Nations came against France in round two, could secure the Triple Crown by adding Ireland's scalp to their wins over fellow home nations teams England and Wales.
Alternatively, Ireland could clinch the Triple Crown as well as the Grand Slam and they could even become the first side to win all five matches with bonus points.
Winless Wales take on fellow strugglers France in BBC One's live game on Sunday, 10 February (kick-off 15:00) before hosting Italy in their final game (also live on BBC One).
