‘Shark Tank’ Star Kevin O’Leary Suspects Beef With LeBron James Led to Magic Johnson Quitting the Lakers
Kevin O’Leary is putting on his conspiracy theory hat in trying to decipher why Magic Johnson quit the Los Angeles Lakers this week in stunning fashion.
The “Shark Tank” star was heading into “The View” on Thursday morning when he was asked about Magic’s sudden departure from the Lakers.
“I didn’t understand that decision, I really didn’t,” O’Leary said. “I think he should have thought that through a little bit more.”
He then took a guess as to why Magic did what he did and although he did not mention LeBron James by name, it was clear who he was talking about.
“Clearly I’m speculating like everyone else is,” O’Leary said, “he probably had a disagreement between a very influential player and other management. And he made a decision, which I think was the wrong one.”
O’Leary clearly wanted the Lakers legend to stay with the team and believes he should have stayed on board to fix the team, which he describes as “in chaos.”
