Shakyla Hill notches fourth quadruple-double in NCAA women's basketball history
There were plenty of excellent basketball moments Wednesday night. From Marquette’s Markus Howard scoring 52 points, to Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry hitting yet another game-winning shot.
But the best achievement of them all came from Grambling State junior Shakyla Hill. During Wednesday’s 93-71 win over Alabama State, Hill notched the fourth quadruple-double in NCAA women’s basketball history.

You read that right. Not a triple-double. A quadruple-double. She managed 15 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists and 10 steals during the contest. Even Ice Cube would be impressed by that.
Hill needed every second in order to notch the quadruple-double. With under 10 seconds to go in the game, Hill needed two more assists to get it done. She picked up one with eight seconds on the clock, and then dished out her 10th and final assist with five seconds left in the contest.
It was the first quadruple-double in NCAA women’s basketball in nearly 25 years.
With 15 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists, and 10 steals, Shakyla Hill of Grambling State recorded the 4th quadruple-double in Division I women's basketball history, and first since January 27, 1993.

In 13 games this season, Hill leads the team in minutes per game and ranks second with 12.6 points per contest.
