STORY: Sevilla returned home on Saturday (August 22) with the Europa League trophy having won the competition for a record-extending sixth time in Cologne a day earlier.

Julen Lopetegui's team beat Inter Milan 3-2 in what was an exciting match despite no fans being in the stadium to provide the atmosphere due to COVID-19 restrictions.

On Saturday, captain Jesus Navas was holding the trophy as he along with Lopetegui, vice-captain Sergio Escudero, club President, Rafael Carrion Moreno and Director of Football, Monchi posed for photographs outside the airport.

The players will now have a short break before the La Liga season resumes on September 12.
