'Severe' Storm Spawns Three Tornadoes in Southern Saskatchewan

A “severe” storm moving over Canada’s Saskatchewan province produced three tornadoes on Saturday, July 4, Environment and Climate Change Canada reported.

The weather service said a “tornadic supercell thunderstorm” moved across southern Saskatchewan on Saturday, bringing tornadoes and softball-sized hail. Environment Canada meteorologists said they have been seeking storm reports to further assess damage.
