The Philadelphia 76ers acquired Seth Curry from the Dallas Mavericks due to his ability to put the ball in the basket from deep and his ability to space the floor. In Thursday’s win over the Orlando Magic, Curry showed off that skill in a big way.

The sharpshooter out of Duke knocked five of his seven attempts from deep and he had another one go in and out as he found his groove early and often in Orlando. He finished with 21 points on the night and that is exactly the type of production the team needs right now for Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid to operate.

Curry is now shooting 14-for-27 from deep to begin the season which is good for 51.9% and it places him among some elite company in the league right now. He is fourth in the league right now in 3-point percentage among players with a minimum of 20 attempts.

The Sixers return home to host the Charlotte Hornets on Saturday for the beginning of a two-game home series with Charlotte.
