Love—the best kind of love. Serena Williams has officially added the title of “wife” to her impressive resume, which already includes the notable achievement of being the world’s top-ranked female tennis player. On Thursday, November 16, the bride married Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian in a star-studded ceremony in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Celeb guests included Eva Longoria and husband José Antonio Bastón, recently married Colton Haynes, recently engaged Caroline Wozniacki, Ciara, La La Anthony, and many more. Williams’ equally prolific athlete sister Venus Williams, as well as the bride’s mother Oracene Price attended, along with the couple’s adorable baby daughter, Alexis Jr.

The intimate occasion was kept tightly under wraps after guests handed over their phones to device service Yondr, which ensures privacy and presence for couples and their guests. Green Bay Packers player Randall Cobb used the same service for his lavish New York City ceremony this year.

The festivities kicked off Wednesday night at Emeril Lagasse’s restaurant Meril. About 100 guests made their way over to the welcome dinner to fete the newlyweds. The pair exchanged vows on Thursday at the Contemporary Arts Center located in the historic downtown portion of the city.

Ohanian and Williams quietly dated before he whisked her away to Rome during the 2016 holiday season to execute a surprise proposal. “I came home. A little late. Someone had a bag packed for me. And a carriage waited. Destination: Rome,” Williams announced at the time in a sweet poem fittingly posted on Reddit. “To escort me to my very own ‘charming.’ Back to where our stars first collided. And now it was full circle. At the same table we first met by chance. But by choice. Down on knee. He said 4 words. And I said yes.”

The planning journey for Williams hasn’t been as stressful since she’s publicly professed her love of orchestrating events. “I do event planning all the time actually,” the bride said in January on Australian TV show The Project. “I do events every year. I do everything from the food to the looks to everything.”

In fact—“I think, in a different life, I was a wedding planner,” she said. “Or just an event planner.”

Prior to the nuptials, the bride celebrated her bridal shower with a wellness-theme weekend in Miami, followed by a recent bachelorette party weekend in New York City. This will be the first marriage for both the bride and groom.
