SEE IT: T.J. Oshie mic'd up during Capitals warmups originally appeared on NBC Sports Washington

Capitals star winger T.J. Oshie is one of the most fun-loving hockey players in the NHL. Always smiling and having fun, Oshie has the kind of energy teammates thrive off during warmups while preparing for the first puck drop.

Now, we finally know what Oshie says to his teammates and Capitals staff during those warmups. The Capitals mic'd Oshie up prior to Washington's Saturday game against the Rangers, and the results are just what you'd expect.

Sporting the "Go Green" warm-up jerseys to benefit Leveling The Playing Field, Oshie's infectious personality makes it impossible to look away. He can have fun doing almost anything, including when he stretches out on the ice.

From checking down on his teammates with his stick to getting hit with practice shots while skating around their zone, Oshie makes an otherwise dangerous-sounding warmup session sound lighthearted and casual.

"I got hit in the elbow, hit in the glove, and almost right in the face," Oshie says to defenseman John Carlson in the video.

Oshie ends the warmup session with a few trick shots before rushing into the tunnel to get prepped for the opening face-off.
