Second suspect arrested in Brooklyn shooting that grazed 7-year-old girl

Police have arrested a second suspect in a stray-bullet shooting that left a 7-year-old Brooklyn girl grazed in the stomach in March, cops said Wednesday.

Investigators with the Regional Fugitive Task Force tracked down Robert Cooper, 31, on Monday, busting him on attempted murder and other charges.

His arrest comes just a few days after police cuffed Jaden Baskerville, 21, who’s accused of being the triggerman in the March 21 shooting.

The 7-year-old victim was skipping and waving her arms happily as she walked down Surf Ave. approaching W. 30th St. in Coney Island about 3 p.m., her mom a few steps behind, when shots pierced the air.

The shooter stuck a gun out of a Nissan Altima with dark, tinted windows and opened fire, apparently aiming at three young men on the sidewalk nearby, police said.

The men scattered and the 28-year-old mom hugged her daughter. They went home, only to realize two hours later that the youngster had been grazed by a bullet.

Baskerville remains held on $500,000 bail.

Cooper was ordered held on $25,000 cash bail or $100,000 bond.
