Seattle Seahawk star WR DK Metcalf displays athletic ability with monstrous dunk originally appeared on NBC Sports Northwest
It’s obvious that Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf is one of the more athletic gifted-looking athletes we have seen in recent years.
His 6’4” 229 lbs frame and the speed that he has are not normally seen on the football field, especially at the receiver position.
So you can expect Metcalf to be not just athletic in football, but in other sports as well.

And on Saturday, Metcalf displayed some of his athletic ability on the basketball court with this ferocious dunk.

If Metcalf decided he wanted to try out for an NBA team in his off time, I don’t think any team wouldn’t at least see how good he is.
It takes a very athletic individual to cradle the basketball like Michael Jordan before throwing it down with a one-hand jam.
In case you didn’t already know, Metcalf did play high school basketball.
He played in his junior and senior year, and played fairly well. He averaged 11.5 points, 1.2 assists, 6.3 rebounds, 1.4 steals, and had 1.6 blocks per game in just 31 games.
Although football became the go-to sport professionally, Metcalf can get a bucket when needed on the court.
Metcalf during pregame warmups before games with the Seahawks would always displays his hops and would go up and grab a football with one hand and made it look way too easy.
DK just did THAT 😳 @dkm14 @Seahawks pic.twitter.com/xmSIYKBxeY

Wilson should be happy that Metcalf decided that football was the sport for him. With just now heading into his third season in the NFL, look for Metcalf to continue to strive for greatness on the field and to make his quarterbacks' job just a little easier.
