Seattle Seahawks snag LA Rams' Andy Dickerson to be run-game coordinator originally appeared on NBC Sports Northwest

Another assistant coach leaves one NFC team for another.

On Thursday, Andy Dickerson, assistant offensive line coach for the Los Angeles Rams, is reportedly joining the Seattle Seahawks as the team's new run game coordinator, according to Sports Illustrated’s Michael Silver.

Dickerson has been with the Rams since 2012 and is the second Rams assistant hired by the Seahawks this week.

Shane Waldron, who was the Rams’ pass game coordinator, will be the Seahawks offensive coordinator.

Rams head coach Sean McVay now has empty shelves as Dickerson is the sixth coach from his staff to depart for another job.

The Chargers Brandon Staley as head coach, defensive pass game coordinator Joe Barry joined Staley with the Chargers, Aubrey Pleasant is the new defensive backs coach for the Lions, Liam Coen joined the University of Kentucky as offensive coordinator-- and then there's Waldron and Dickerson, who are now with the Seahawks.

Dickerson should be able to bring a new diverse rushing attack and integrate more of the Rams wide zone concepts that they have used over the last four seasons.
