Seattle's 2019 schedule is out. Here are some highlights.

Home and away: Seattle begins the season with the first 10 games alternating home and away starting with Cincinnati at home in Week 1 and ending with a game at San Francisco in Week 10. That game is followed with a game at Philadelphia the in Week 11. Seattle has one other consecutive weeks of road games and they have Week 14 at the Los Angeles Rams and Week 15 at Carolina.

Closing strong: Seattle could be in good shape if it enters the final two weeks of the season in must-win situations to reach the postseason. Seattle closes with games at home against San Francisco in Week 16 and Arizona in Week 17.  The 49ers were 4-12 last year and the Cardinals were 3-13. Of course, that was last season. And, last season, the 49ers defeated Seattle at home.

Working the night shift: The Seahawks have a great national following and the networks love to put them on in prime time. Seattle is scheduled to play five night games starting with a Thursday night during Week 5 on Oct. 3 at home against NFC West Division rival, the Los Angeles Rams. Seattle's next night game appearance comes Week 10 on a Monday night on Nov. 11 at San Francisco. On Sunday, Nov. 24, the Seahawks will play a Week 12 game at Philadelphia on NBC.  The following week on Monday, Dec. 2, Seattle plays at home against Minnesota in a Week 13 matchup. The list of night games ends Week 14 in a Sunday night game on Dec. 8 at the Los Angeles Rams on NBC.

Playoff rivals: Seattle will play five games against teams that reached the NFL playoffs last season. Two against the Rams, at Philadelphia and at home against Baltimore and New Orleans.

Here is a quick look at each game on the schedule along with a far-too-soon, meaningless, I'll-deny-I-ever-made-it prediction for each game:

Week 1

Date: Sunday, Sept. 8.

Opponent: Cincinnati Bengals

Time/Network: 1:05 p.m., CBS

Analysis: Seattle eases into the schedule with a home game against a team that went 6-10 last season. However, the Bengals began the year 4-1 before falling to pieces.

Result: Seattle victory (1-0)

Week 2

Date: Sunday, Sept. 15.

Opponent: at Pittsburgh Steelers

Time/Network: 10 a.m., FOX

Analysis: The Steelers were in the playoff hunt all of last season and have rid themselves of two headaches, running back Le'Veon Bell and wide receiver Antonio Brown. They also rid themselves of two amazing players.

Result: Seattle victory (2-0)

Week 3

Date: Sunday, Sept. 22.

Opponent: vs. New Orleans Saints

Time/Network: 1:25 p.m., CBS

Analysis: The Saints were a Super Bowl contender last season and got robbed in the NFC Championship game. But don't expect them to be dominant again.

Result: Seattle victory (3-0).

Week 4

Date: Sunday, Sept. 29.

Opponent: at Arizona Cardinals

Time/Network: 1:05 p.m., FOX

Analysis: The Cardinals will have new coach and maybe a new quarterback. Not a recipe for success.

Result: Seattle victory (4-0).

Week 5

Date: Thursday, Oct. 3

Opponent: vs. Los Angeles Rams

Time/Network: 5:20 p.m., FOX/NFL Network

Analysis: Seattle lost two very close games to the Rams last season and they should play two more close games again this year.

Result: Seattle victory (5-0).

Week 6

Date: Sunday, Oct. 13.

Opponent: at Cleveland Browns

Time/Network: 10 a.m., FOX

Analysis: Everyone is going crazy for the Browns and they should be very exciting to watch this season.

Result: Seattle loss (5-1).

Week 7

Date: Sunday, Oct. 20

Opponent: vs. Baltimore Ravens

Time/Network: 1:25 p.m., FOX

Analysis: Quarterback Lamar Jackson with his limited passing abilities are not rolling into Seattle to get a win.

Result: Seattle victory (6-1).

Week 8

Date: Sunday, Oct. 27

Opponent: at Atlanta Falcons

Time/Network: 10 a.m., FOX

Analysis: The Falcons were one of the bigger disappointments in the league last year and could be set for a major rebound.

Result: Seattle loss (6-2).

Week 9

Date: Sunday, Nov. 3

Opponent: vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Time/Network: 1:05 p.m., FOX

Analysis: New coach Bruce Arians, who used to coach Arizona, knows Seattle well. But not well enough.

Result: Seattle victory (7-2).

Week 10

Date: Monday, Nov. 11

Opponent: at San Francisco 49ers

Time/Network: 5:15 p.m., ESPN

Analysis: The 49ers will be a threat this season with quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo back in the huddle.

Result: Seattle loss (7-3).

Week 11

Bye. Nov. 17.

Week 12

Date: Sunday, Nov. 24

Opponent: at Philadelphia Eagles

Time/Network: 5:20 p.m., NBC

Analysis: The Eagles will finally find out if they can depend on quarterback Carson Wentz and should know the answer to that by this point in the season. Tough road game.

Result: Seattle loss (7-4).

Week 13

Date: Monday, Dec. 2

Opponent: vs. Minnesota Vikings

Time/Network: 5:15 p.m., ESPN

Analysis: Rematch of last season's prime time clash that Seattle rolled in. It happens again.

Result: Seattle victory (8-4).

Week 14

Date: Sunday, Dec. 8

Opponent: at Los Angeles Rams

Time/Network: 5:20 p.m., NBC

Analysis: The Rams remain the class of the division until proven otherwise.

Result: Seattle loss (8-5).

Week 15

Date: Sunday, Dec. 15

Opponent: at Carolina Panthers

Time/Network: 10 a.m., FOX

Analysis: Seattle made a beliver out of many by winning a great game at Carolina last season and helped send the Panthers into a tailspin right out of playoff contention. Not this time.

Result: Seattle loses (8-6).

Week 16

Date: Sunday, Dec. 22

Opponent: vs. Arizona Cardinals

Time/Network: 1:25 p.m., FOX

Analysis: Seattle rights the ship against a struggling Cardinals team that will begin wondering why exactly they hired Kliff Kingsbury (that's not fair, but again, this is way too early for predictions).

Result: Seattle victory (9-6).

Week 17

Date: Sunday, Dec. 29

Opponent: vs. San Francisco 49ers

Time/Network: 1:25 p.m., FOX

Analysis: Seattle will need a win to have a chance at reaching the playoffs and will get it.

Result: Seattle victory (10-6).
