Thorpe, a six-year veteran, has spent the last three seasons with Seattle as mostly a special teams ace. He's appeared in 41 games with zero starts while in Seattle. A gunner on punt team, Thorpe a special teams co-captain in 2018.
Seattle earlier in free agency lost backup cornerback Justin Coleman to Detroit.
