There is nothing worse than your dog being disappointed in you. There's also nothing worse than feeling like you've cheated on your dog, and that your dog knows it.
After Sean Doolittle's struggle to close the ninth inning in Thursday night's 7-6 series win against the New York Mets, he was disappointed in himself. But not as disappointed as his dog, Stella was.
When I got home Stella was NOT happy with me. She was upset that I was giving walks to someone else and asked how I would like it if she rubbed my nose in the big mess I made. "Just think about that next time, Dad." pic.twitter.com/cks1XghUxJ

Doolittle tweeted that Stella was disappointed "that I was giving walks to someone else." For the record, Doolittle only allowed one walk.
Despite the struggle, Doolittle made his seventh season save Thursday night after throwing a whopping 31 pitches.
The Nationals host the Chicago Cubs tonight at 7:05 p.m. for the beginning of a three-game series.
