Seahawks still ‘keenly interested’ in re-signing Bobby Wagner
The Seattle Seahawks remain incredibly active in this free agency period, and acutely focused on improving their highly suspect defense. Their latest move to shore up defensive inadequacies was to sign former Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker, and former No. 10 overall pick, Devin Bush.
Bush will no doubt mark improvement over the recently departed Cody Barton, who left for the Washington Commanders. However, it is safe to say this is not the linebacker signing the 12th Man was hoping for.
The move fans are desperate for the Seahawks to make is to bring franchise icon Bobby Wagner back to the Pacific Northwest. Fortunately for them, signing Bush does not eliminate this possibility.
Seahawks agree to a 1-year contract with former Pittsburgh Steelers inside linebacker/ 1st-round pick Devon Bush. @bcondotta reported it 1st.
Bush is not yet 25. ACL year sidetracked fast start in NFL
Yes, I’m told Seahawks remain keenly interested in re-signing Bobby Wagner.

Wagner may not be the game wrecker he once was, but he has more than enough left in the tank to make an immediate impact on his old stomping grounds. With Jordyn Brooks looking to face a lengthy recovery, Wagner not only makes sense from a fan’s love perspective, but from a position of need as well.
It is high time to bring Wagner back home.
