Seahawks Overcome Broncos in Overtime, 26-20

The Denver defense had no answer for Marshawn Lynch as he led the way to a late victory for the Seahawks over the Broncos, 26-20, at home.

Russell Wilson accounted for two touchdowns against the Broncos on 24 of 34 passing for 258 yards and one pick. On the Broncos side, Peyton Manning went 31 for 49 with 303 yards passing, two touchdowns and one pick.

Lynch ran all over the Broncos for 88 yards on 26 attempts with a touchdown in addition to three receptions for 40 yards and another score. Ricardo Lockette caught one pass for 39 yards with a touchdown.

The Seattle defense was the major reason for the victory, giving up 36 yards rushing and 303 passing. They were able to get to Manning for one sack.

Broncos wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders had a big day with 149 receiving yards. Tight end Julius Thomas had a good game as well with 17 receiving yards and one touchdown.

The Seahawks head to Landover next week to face the Redskins (1-2) while the Broncos host the Cardinals (3-0).
