Seahawks ‘made strong bid to poach’ Buccaneers RB Leonard Fournette

The Seattle Seahawks might have been quiet as could be on the first day of free agency’s legal tampering period on Monday, but it appears they might be attempting to get into the race.

Seattle could be trying to snatch running back Leonard Fournette from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers per a report from MMQB’s Albert Breer.

“Buccaneers RB Leonard Fournette is weighing an offer to remain in Tampa (Brady is recruiting him back), but the Seahawks have made a strong bid to poach him,” Breer tweeted Tuesday morning. “Stylistically, Seattle would be an interesting fit.”

The Seahawks are already down a running back from last season after Carlos Hyde agreed to terms to sign with the Jaguars on Monday.
