Seahawks keep tumbling in weekly NFL power rankings

The Seattle Seahawks have dropped their last three contests, and with that, have continued to tumble in Touchdown Wire’s weekly NFL power rankings.

Entering Week 8, Seattle has fallen another three spots, down from No. 17 to No. 20.

“Failing to get a running game going on offense proved to be terrible for the Seahawks’ chances against the Saints,” writes TD Wire’s Nick Wojtan. “Their defense did perform well in some bad conditions against New Orleans’ Alvin Kamara (considering the 13-10 score)… but Seattle needs Russell Wilson back in the worst way.”

Sitting at 2-5 on the season, it is going to be a tough climb for the Seahawks to get back into contention in the NFC West.

Seattle is set to host the Jaguars this Sunday for a Halloween matchup at Lumen Field.
