Games of the week - Hibernian v Celtic (Wed)

Celtic will finish this round of fixtures top if they take anything from their visit to Edinburgh.

Beleaguered Hibs, without a league win in six outings, were all at sea in a miserable 3-0 home defeat to St Mirren on Saturday but did hold the reigning champions to a 0-0 draw in Edinburgh earlier this season.

Will Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers finally get his first win at Easter Road?

Player to watch - Benjamin Kimpioka (St Johnstone)

The January transfer window for many, if not all, managers is a search for a striker. St Johnstone have found one in Benjamin Kimpioka.

The speedy Swede showed what he's capable of with the winner in Saints' weekend win at Ross County and may just be the ingredient Craig Levein has been looking for.

With Levein's former club Hearts visiting Perth on Wednesday, Kimpioka can go in search of his first McDiarmid Park goal.

Manager spotlight - Nick Montgomery (Hibernian)

With Barry Robson having lost his job at Aberdeen, Nick Montgomery is arguably the league's most under pressure manager.

Losing 3-0 at home to St Mirren after a clutch of new signings has not helped the Easter Road boss' cause and his record of seven wins and eight draws out of 22 in all competitions is comparable to Robson's Premiership record this term.

And the prospect of Celtic coming to town is unlikely to be one that supporters will savour.

Montgomery said after the loss to St Mirren his team lacked "fight". The players need to show their manager something, and soon.

But Hibs, like Aberdeen, are still in contention for a top-six finish. Any kind of positive result this midweek would only aid that ambition.
