Savage or childish? Jalen Ramsey offers Andrew Luck a hand up, then pulls it away

There are few players in the NFL who talk more trash than Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey.

Ramsey’s tactics aren’t confined to words.

Early in the second quarter of Jacksonville’s Week 13 matchup with the Indianapolis Colts, a game that resulted in a 6-0 Jags victory, quarterback Andrew Luck ran on a second-and-20 play, and went down on an ugly slide. Ramsey jumped over Luck to avoid hitting him, then turned back to offer Luck a hand up.

And then he pulled it away.

Some will find this move funny – all’s fair in the heat of competition and all that – and others will think it’s more immaturity from Ramsey, who is happy to talk as long as Jacksonville is doing well. When the Jaguars are not, he often clams up.

Denver Broncos pass rusher Von Miller was flagged for pulling the same move on Tyrod Taylor last year.
