(SOUNDBITE) (Arabic) TUNISIAN GOLF COACH, GHEZLAN AHMED, SAYING:
“One of the biggest challenges I faced in this program was that people perceive golf as a sport for elderly and retired people but actually it isn't, and the proof is that since we started the program last May, we have more than 400 women participants in golf training.”
(SOUNDBITE) (Arabic) SAUDI CITIZEN, LAMIA AL-FHADI, SAYING:
“I started golf five months ago. I used to watch golf and when I got the chance, I seized it. The funny thing is that my friends laughed at me, saying that I follow the golf ball around, but we’ll see who will have the last laugh when I hopefully enter the Saudi national team."
