- We're only a few days into the 2022 World Cup, and the tournament is already totally nuts. On Tuesday, reigning Cup champion, France, had the world asking, England, who? After Kylian Mbappe and Olivier Giroud picked apart Australia, with a 4 to 1 victory. But the absolute shocker of the day was Saudi Arabia taking down Messi, and perennial favorite, Argentina. Check out this Saudi fan sobbing in the stands after the upset 2 to 1 win.

For context, Saudi Arabia has never won a World Cup, and has only qualified for the tournament six times in history. Meanwhile, Argentina came into this tournament, their 19th World Cup appearance, riding a 36 match unbeaten streak. And, oh yeah, they've won the World Cup twice.

- Sounds like a big deal to me.

- It's such a big deal, in fact, that Saudi King, Salman, declared today a national holiday to celebrate. And looking at these stats, I get it. Like, Saudi entering the match at +1800 odds, and a more than half a billion pay disparity between their team, and Argentina. Although I never considered cash flow to be a problem for a Saudi sports team. But, maybe they put all their soccer money towards golf, and the LIV Tour.

- You're probably right.

- Hilariously, the English Premier League is practically upstaging The World Cup, thanks to Cristiano Ronaldo and the Real Housewives of Manchester United. After the public airing of dirty laundry, and a hefty fine, the disgruntled star and Man U are consciously uncoupling. Ronaldo's contract was supposed to run through next June. But, with this mutually agreed upon split, he's free to join any team. As a betting woman, I'd put my money on Chrissie returning to his home nation of Portugal.

But, sometimes, all bets are off. Like when it comes to the Raiders new slogan. Mark Davis' Las Vegas Raiders have filed a trademark for the slogan "Win City". According to trademark attorney Josh Gerben.

- I think that [BLEEP] corny.

- It sure is. Of course, it's a play on the Las Vegas nickname, "Sin City". But with a record of 3 and 7, shouldn't the Raiders win something before adopting this name? If it were a slogan for Mark's other team, the reigning WNBA champion, Las Vegas Aces, I totally understand. But, hey, who needs to earn a win, when you can just buy one?

Speaking of Las Vegas--

[INTENSE MUSIC]

Holy-moly. The final four of the men's NCAA basketball tournament is coming to Las Vegas, in 2028. I'm a Vegas resident, and I can assure you that we're going to need six years to prepare for this insanity. If you thought NBA all-star weekend packed this city to its limits, we're about to level up. I think I'll stay home.
