The Buffalo Bills will not face the New Orleans Saints with their No. 1 tight end on Thanksgiving.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Monday, Adam Trautman will miss a month or more with a knee injury. Of course, that means within a few days he’s not going to be ready to play in Week 12 so Trautman is out for Thursday’s matchup:

Per Saints Wire, he fell awkwardly in the Saints’ recent loss on Sunday to the Philadelphia Eagles leading to the injury.

Trautman, a second-year pro, already has career-bests across the board this season for New Orleans. Those include catches (25) and yards (241).

Along with Trautman, the Saints are already down starting QB Jameis Winston (knee) for the rest of the season. Starting running back Alvin Kamara’s status is also in question as he did not practice on Monday.

Kamara has missed two games with a knee issue of his own.

Without Trautman, that leaves leaves the Saints with Garrett Griffin, Juwan Johnson, and the recently-activated Nick Vannett at tight end.
