The NFL has a ton of action ready for Week 17, meaning the 11-4 New Orleans Saints’ regular season finale with the 5-10 Carolina Panthers is sidelined. At least as far as TV coverage is concerned. Local markets will be tuned in, but that’s true of every game airing on the eve of the playoffs.

Here’s what you need to know about the Saints-Panthers broadcast:

When: Sunday, Jan. 3, 3:25 p.m. CT

With an over/under of just 47.5 from BetMGM, that suggests a final tally near Saints 27, Panthers 20. Gannett may earn revenue from audience referrals to betting services. Newsrooms are independent of this relationship and there is no influence on news coverage.

Attendance policy

COVID-19 restrictions have limited spectators to a crowd of just 1,500 family and friends of the Saints and Panthers at Bank of America Stadium.
