Every game matters, but the Civil War matters more!

On this week's edition of the Talkin' Beavers podcast, former Beavers running back Ryan Nall joined Nigel Burton to talk about the upcoming Civil War, being recruited by Mike Riley, his NFL journey and more.

Nall recently got called up from the practice squad for the Chicago Bears, which has some other Civil War veterans on roster.

I'm outnumbered out here. I got Kyle Long and I got Mark Helfrich out here...but I'm going to hold my own. We don't got any wages, if anything we'll do...like a T-shirt, sweatshirt, something like that...

But Beaver fans remember Nall for his legendary four-touchdown performance in the 2016 Civil War. Oregon State hadn't defeated the Ducks in eight years going into the game. In the second half, then-Beavers coach Gary Andersen rode Hall to complete the comeback and win the game.
